Ru is a young lady with quite a bit of energy and promise. Excitable and friendly, she is almost too much so. Not easily manipulated (often), Ru is still actually quite a pushover, at least to the right people. Her job has made her into much more a skeptic than the last (being the mail girl, she was exposed to people, but working in the evening services industry, she's been introduced to a different crowd) and though she doesn't have to use them often, she has practiced a quite chilling glare and snarl combo. All things being stated however, she's easy to meet, usually easy and willing to talk, and a loyal friend. Don't cross her (or her close companions) though. Not only does the girl have a rather impressive kick for being so small, she also can hold a grudge like nobody's business. History
Ru came from a pretty decent upbringing. Her family is middle class, but it's ok because they are tight-knit and have each others backs. If Ru had a problem in school, she'd talk to her dad about it. If she was being bullied, she'd get her big brother to help. If she had problems with mean girls or crushes, she'd go to her mom. It always was like that. Her parents would help their children from a distance, letting their children learn how to be able to think and act for themselves, but never to far away in case anything went wrong. When she got to high school, Ru felt that calling on her family for everything she needed help with was babyish. So she got her brother to teach her how to fight for herself, but still would talk to her parents and brother about her issues. So, nothing to traumatic happened in her life. So, as family tradition (her parents did the same thing to her brother), when Ru turned 18, her parents gave her some money and told her to go live life to the fullest. Bearing no ill will, Ru wandered for about a year until she found Pokemon Village.
